Pintxo week and new friends

Last week I received an email from the people of Brand on Blogs, inviting me to take something during the "Pintxo week" organized by Gasteiz on ( a group that works for the commerce and restaurants in the city). I am not very fond on this kind of events (don´t feel very confortable in places with lot of people), but this time it was something tiny and there were also invited other blog friends. So it was perfect to meet them in real and take a walk on the city bars.
Pasatako astean Brand on Blogs-eko jendeak idatzi ninduen, Gasteiz onek antolatzen duen "Pintxo astearen " inguruan egin nahi zuten blogger ekitaldi batean parte hartzeko. Ez naiz gauza horietara arin juntatzen zen horietakoa, ez bait zaizkit jende asko mugitzen duten akto zalea. Hala ere hontakoan gutxi batzuk ginen eta animatzeko arrazoirik garrantzitzuena, azpaldian jarraitzen nuen jendea ezagutzeko aukera izan zen.

The plan was to go from bar to bar, taste the pintxos. A little paradise for me. And hope that for you too, as I will use this opportunity to recomend you some places, in case you decide to leave your diets apart and come to pass some gastronomic days here.
Plana tabernaz taberna joatea zen, pintxoak dastatzen. Ze plan hobeagorik? Eta horretan gaudenez, leku hauek ezagutzera gonbidatzen zaituztet.

Apart from the food and the wines, the company was great and I enjoyed a lot sharing with new-old friends of kind of conversations. It was time since I didn´t feel so confortable.
Ardoaz eta janariaz aparte, lagun artean sentitu nintzen. Izugarrizko momentu eta solazaldi goxoak izan genituen.

We discovered new tastes, different textures, and new ways of preparing old ingredients.
Sapore berriak, textura ezberdinak eta betiko jakiak prestatzeko modu berriak deskubritu genituen.

I invite you if you are near to come and wander a bit. There are 94 different pintxos to taste. You can expend more than a week just eating pintxos and drinking.
Etortzera gonbidatzen zaituztet. 94 pintxo ezberdin daude...astebete egon zaitezke tabernaz taberna jan eta edan.

I invite you also to take a look in the blog of the eating trip friends.
Nirekin egon ziren lagunen blogak bizitatzera gonbidatzen zaituztet.

  8. Next time you hang out for pintxos (and we are done with lambing!) let me know, I would LOVE to meet you. Beautiful blog!!! I am so jealous, although I speak Basque and French fluently, we only spoke (I went to school in California) it at home. Although I now live in the Basque Country (Bidarray) I am still not comfortable writing it :-/
